The Wright Brothers Chapter of Quad-A was established in October 1991. The chapter was deactivated in August of 1995. (Check out the original officers in this 1991 Quad A Magazine issue.) In December 1995, the chapter was reactivated and has been growing since. The original officers include: Carl Bobo, Jr., LTC ret (deceased), Jim Daum, 1LT, Stu Driesbach, CPT, Rick Bedard, CPT, Fredrick Rupp, MAJ ret (deceased). LTC Bobo and MAJ Rupp were charter members of Quad-A since 1957, and both were in the Battle of the Bulge. The Wright Brothers Chapter is currently located at the Army Aviation Flight Facility #2, Rickenbacker International Airport, Columbus, OH. |
